GENERAL PAYMENT INFORMATION

What are my payment options?
You can choose between:
Pay in Full: Pay the entire ticket price upfront.
Three-Installment Payment Plan (available January 13–May 18, 2025):
   • First non-refundable payment: 34% of the ticket cost, due immediately upon registration.
   • Second non-refundable payment: 33% automatically charged 30 days after the registration date.
   • Final non-refundable payment: 33% automatically charged 60 days after the registration date. 

Are there additional fees with registration?
No, ticket prices include all applicable taxes and service fees. There are no extra charges for selecting the payment plan.

What payment methods are accepted?
We accept the following major credit cards:

Not Accepted: Debit cards requiring PIN entry, checks, and PayPal.

Are tickets refundable or transferable?
Refundable: Tickets are non-refundable, regardless of payment method.
Transferable: Tickets can be transferred to another individual before the transfer deadline. Transfers must be approved by Aveda Congress.

Who can attend Aveda Congress?
Aveda Congress is open to all beauty industry professionals—whether you’re part of the Aveda network, with another brand, or simply passionate about beauty, artistry and education. Salon owners, stylists, colorists, educators, students and industry leaders are all welcome.
When and where is Aveda Congress 2025?
Congress takes place August 16–19, 2025, at the Minneapolis Convention Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
What can I expect at Aveda Congress?
Aveda Congress is a celebration of beauty, creativity, personal/professional development and connection. Highlights include:

How do I purchase tickets?
Tickets can be purchased at www.avedacongress.com. 
Are tickets refundable?
Congress tickets are non-refundable, but they may be transferred to another attendee. 
Are there different ticket types?
Yes. Aveda Congress offers ticket options to meet your needs, including General Admission and the Ultimate Congress Experience package. Each ticket type offers a unique level of access to education, events and experiences.

Do I need to be a licensed professional to attend?
While most attendees are licensed beauty professionals or students enrolled in a cosmetology program, we also welcome educators, brand partners and professionals from all areas of the beauty industry.
Will there be continuing education credits (CEUs)?
Some education sessions may qualify for CEUs depending on your state’s requirements. Please check with your state board, and bring any necessary documentation to track your hours.
Will there be a retail area?
Yes. The on-site Aveda Retail Store will feature a curated selection of Aveda products, exclusive Congress merchandise and limited-edition items you won’t find anywhere else. 
Is there a dress code?
There’s no official dress code, but we recommend comfortable shoes and layers. Many attendees enjoy expressing their creativity through fashion!
Will there be food available at the event?
Yes. Food and beverages will be available for purchase throughout the Convention Center, with multiple options to accommodate various dietary needs and preferences.
Where should I stay?
We have secured a discounted rate at the Hilton Minneapolis. Visit the Details tab of avedacongress.com to book your stay and take advantage of the Aveda preferred rate.
Is transportation provided?
Transportation is not provided. However, the Hilton Minneapolis is a short distance from the Minneapolis Convention Center via skyway. Minneapolis is also walkable and rideshare-friendly.
Is there a schedule of events available?
A schedule is available at avedacongress.com in the Schedule tab. Attendees will download the Congress app, which includes digital schedules and ongoing communication leading up to the event. 
Can I bring my team or group?
Yes! Congress is a great team experience. Group ticket registration is available—visit www.avedacongress.com.
Will sessions be recorded or available after the event?
Congress is designed as a fully live and in-person experience. While select highlights may be shared on social media afterward, recordings of sessions will not be widely available.
Is there a mobile app for Congress?
Yes, a dedicated Congress app will launch before the event. It will include your schedule, artist and speaker information, venue maps and real-time updates to help you make the most of your experience.
Can I meet the artists and educators?
Many artists and educators will be available in the Experience Area during specific times. While meet-and-greets aren’t guaranteed, Congress is designed to create moments of connection throughout the event.
What accessibility accommodations are available?
The Minneapolis Convention Center is ADA compliant, and accessibility accommodations are available upon request. Please email congress@aveda.com with any specific needs so we can support your experience.
What should I bring?
We recommend bringing your confirmation email, photo ID, notebook, refillable water bottle and business cards for networking. A light sweater or jacket is also recommended for indoor spaces.
Where is the registration area located?
The registration area will be clearly marked at the entrance of the Minneapolis Convention Center. Signage and staff will be available to guide you upon arrival.
When should I check in for Congress?
We recommend checking in early to avoid lines. Registration opens at 9 a.m. Saturday, August 16. 
What do I need to bring to check in?
Please bring your digital or printed confirmation email and/or have your ticket loaded onto your Congress app to receive your Congress badge and materials.
What services does the Concierge area offer?
The Concierge area is your go-to spot for event information, venue directions, lost and found, accessibility support and general assistance throughout the event.
Who can I ask for help during the event?
Our Concierge volunteers and staff will be stationed throughout the venue, ready to assist you with any questions or needs.
